Supabase is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Turso core database team. You will help shape agentic databases, work with customers and teams, and scale a distributed Open Source database to billions of operations daily.

This role emphasizes async, fast-paced development, deterministic testing, and building tools that scale. Remote-first company with global reach and strong OSS community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience building database systems or low-level platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and observability tooling.
• Comfort with remote collaboration and OSS communities.

Responsibilities

• Drive progress of the Turso Open Source database and Postgres compatibility layer.
• Ensure code reliability and system guarantees.
• Maintain Turso Cloud ops and data plane operations.
• Improve scalability for a 100x larger number of databases.
