Katz Melinger PLLC is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to run the firm's operations so the Managing Partner can focus on strategy and legal work. This is a senior role with end-to-end responsibility for operations, staffing, and process optimization, including financial reporting and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of law firm operations experience.
• Experience building management in a growing firm and holding people accountable.
• Strong with numbers: KPIs, billing, and financial reporting.
• Very comfortable with systems and data: case management, workflow tools, and dashboards.
• A direct communicator who can be trusted with confidential matters and follow through.

Responsabilités

• Run the firm's day-to-day operations and keep the Managing Partner informed.
• Lead and manage staff across departments with performance management and onboarding.
• Work with practice leads to set up and run legal pods with KPIs and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with the Managing Partner to implement vision and decision-making structure.
• Oversee case workflows across Airtable, CosmoLex, and in-house dashboards.
