Designed Conveyor Systems seeks a Controls Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site commissioning of complex material handling and warehouse automation systems. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams and field technicians to ensure systems meet design specs and performance targets.

The role is remote-based within the continental United States, with travel up to 75% to customer sites during commissioning, startup, testing, and go-live.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience commissioning industrial automation and controls.
• Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, encoders, and safety devices.
• Understanding of Ethernet/IP and industrial networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Mansioni

• Execute on-site commissioning of material handling systems.
• Perform I/O checkout and safety checks.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial networks.
• Validate system functionality against design specifications.
