Job summary

Urrly, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the accounting function in a fast-growing software and services company. You will partner with the CFO, own NetSuite, and build scalable processes.

The role covers close, reporting, audits, and budgeting with GAAP, deferred revenue, and reconciliations at the core. Remote in the United States (excl. Hawaii); ~40 hours/week; base salary $120k–$145k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7+ years progressive accounting experience with close ownership.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and independent use.
• GAAP knowledge, reconciliations, deferred revenue, and Excel skills.
• Willingness to handle daily accounting while improving the function.

Responsibilities

• Run the accounting function as a hands-on department of one: GL, AP/AR, invoicing, collections, payroll accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
• Own monthly and annual close, financial statements, and reliable reporting.
• Serve as NetSuite’s primary in-house accounting owner, handling day-to-day use and workflow improvements.
• Maintain GAAP accounting, deferred revenue, and prepaids across subscriptions and services.
• Coordinate external auditors and maintain supporting schedules and controls.
• Guide outsourced implementation partners as acquired businesses move into NetSuite.
• Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning.
