Job summary

PM Studios, a fast-growing video game developer and publisher in Las Vegas, seeks a Controller to own the full accounting function across multiple entities. Reporting to the CFO, you will implement scalable processes, strengthen controls, and build the finance infrastructure to support rapid growth in a creative company moving at game speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation required; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience including Controller/Asst Controller leadership.
• Experience in gaming, entertainment, media, or tech preferred; familiarity with royalty accounting and platform revenue splits.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function across multiple PM Studios entities—gaming, publishing, licensing, entertainment.
• Ensure GL accuracy, journal entries, accruals, and monthly/quarterly closes.
• Build cash flow forecasts and monitor daily banking activity for clear financial visibility.
• Collaborate with outside CPA firms on tax returns and multi-state/international matters.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships with development studios and partners.
• Develop dashboards in Excel and NetSuite for leadership visibility by title, line, and market.
• Create KPIs meaningful to a games business: title performance, royalties, margin.
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive scalable improvements in finance infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, publishing, HR, and IT on strategic projects.
• Build, hire, mentor, and grow the accounting team.
