Job summary

e2E is seeking a Controller/CFO Consultant to lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for entrepreneurial clients in a hybrid work setting. You will mentor teams, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across multiple client engagements.

This role requires a strong background in accounting, tax, and financial management, with experience overseeing engagements and collaborating with CFO consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review or prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports; journal entries; fixed asset schedules; payroll; and other accounting functions for clients.
• Consult with clients on accounting, tax, and business matters including AP/AR, payroll, cash management, debt, sales and use tax, and regulatory filings.
• Review work by staff and provide coaching to ensure accuracy.
• Research and document technical accounting and tax issues for compliance guidance.
• Coordinate preparation of complex and non-complex tax returns (income, payroll, sales and use tax, business licenses).
• Oversee client invoicing, accounts payable processing, and ACH transactions as needed.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports for strategic decisions.
• Maintain daily hours tracking by client and project.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and reporting integrity.
