Job summary

Airgas seeks a Control Board Operator in Independence, OH, to remotely monitor and control air separation and related processes from a central site. You will manage DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC interfaces, troubleshoot plant equipment, and support field technicians during outages and startups.

The role requires a high school diploma with 5+ years experience; a 2-year technical degree or military tech background is preferred. OSHA/EPA compliance is essential, with a 24/7 rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating a control board in an industrial plant.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs and control logic.
• Experience with air separation or cryogenic processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remote process control and optimization of production facilities.
• Diagnose alerts and malfunctions; troubleshoot mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices.
• Provide on-site field support during startups, outages, and leave coverage.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHS and cGMP standards.
