Job summary

HumanGood is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide legal support across commercial, healthcare, technology, and real estate contracts. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts and advise internal stakeholders on terms, risk, and compliance. The role oversees contract templates, lifecycle processes, and coordination with outside counsel.

A J.D. and active bar membership are required, with 3+ years in relevant practice; California or other

Qualifications

• J.D. from a U.S.-accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three years of corporate, contract, commercial transactional or related legal experience.
• Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington or Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a broad portfolio of commercial, healthcare, and technology contracts.
• Develop, maintain and improve enterprise-wide contract templates, standard provisions and playbooks.
• Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk, renewal, termination, liability and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with business teams and outside counsel across the contract lifecycle.
• Support procurement activities including RFPs/RFIs and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal research on contracts, healthcare operations, privacy and related laws.
• Travel to communities as needed and provide practical legal guidance.
