Job summary
Stella Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Contract Specialist to support development, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts across teams including procurement, legal, finance, and operations.
The role focuses on ensuring contracts are accurate, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational objectives, with remote or hybrid options and a strong emphasis on documentation and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years in contract administration or procurement.
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle and commercial agreements.
- Experience reviewing contracts, SOWs, pricing schedules, vendor agreements.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer contracts, amendments, and related docs.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
- Review terms, pricing, deliverables, and performance obligations.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Support negotiations with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain contract records and approvals.
- Identify risks and escalate appropriately.
