Job summary

Zayo Group is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support hiring across Networks & Technology. This 4-month contract allows remote work within the United States, with hybrid options near Denver for those within 55 miles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably corporate or blend of corporate and agency recruiting.
• Recruiting experience within telecommunications or similar industry (utilities, infrastructure, construction, broadband, field services).
• Experience recruiting Field Services and hourly/skilled technician positions (route patrollers, field technicians, installation or maintenance technicians).
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring across multiple geographic markets and localized sourcing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit on a national, multi-location level.
• Experience sourcing active and passive candidates with emphasis on candidate experience and high-quality talent.
• Self-directed, highly organized, and able to complete time-sensitive assignments.
• Experience with behavioral and competency-based interviewing; familiarity with DOL requirements.
• Workday experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume recruiting and build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to understand business and workforce needs.
• Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to engage active and passive candidates.
• Facilitate the full life-cycle recruiting process for Zayo positions.
• Consult with and guide hiring managers, providing tools, insights, and recommendations.
• Drive recruiting activities to maintain strong pools of diverse candidates.
• Screen, assess, and present highly qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Build talent networks through industry contacts, associations, and referrals.
• Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to provide updates and align on priorities.
• Adapt recruiting strategies to changing business needs and priorities.
• Ensure compliance with recruiting processes, policies, and KPIs.
