Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, seeks a contract Litigation Paralegal to support one or more litigation teams in docketing, calendaring, and case management for a high‑volume asbestos/toxic tort portfolio.

The role starts ASAP, duration 3–6 months with potential extension, and pay is $40-50/hour depending on experience. Primarily remote, but travel to offices in Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Houston, TX; Miami, FL; Orange County, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or San Francisco, CA may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting docketing, calendaring and case management in litigation.
• Ability to interpret pleadings and notices to determine deadlines.
• Proven accuracy in updating calendars and related firm systems.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and interpret filings to determine deadlines and calendar entries.
• Direct calendaring team to update databases and trackers.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and avoid duplicates.
• Review daily docketing reports to keep attorneys informed of changes.
• Triaging time-sensitive filings to the appropriate legal team members.
