MG+M The Law Firm is seeking experienced Litigation Paralegals to join its Toxic Tort practice in Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek. The role supports complex civil matters with a focus on toxic tort, product liability, and related litigation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Toxic Tort Defense experience, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Westlaw, PACER, and File & Serve Xpress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Toxic Tort Defense litigation experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Westlaw, PACER, and/or File & Serve Xpress.
• Attendance and punctuality required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Customer service mindset and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
• Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
• Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery requests and responses and other documents under attorney supervision.
• Coordinate deposition logistics for plaintiffs, co-defendants, treating physicians, and expert witnesses.
• Review, index, and summarize deposition transcripts, medical records, employment and product identification records, and expert reports.
• Track and manage document productions and coordinate with document review platforms.
• Assist with preparation of expert witness materials and exhibits.
• Liaise with defense counsel, liaison counsel, insurance carriers, and court personnel.
• Conduct legal and factual research relevant to exposure and defenses.
• Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.
