Job summary

Inmar Intelligence is seeking a Contract Data Analyst to join our remote team in the United States. You will clean and assign categorization taxonomy, manufacturer and brand for UPCs and product records, ensuring data accuracy across the US grocery domain.

You will perform data entry, research product identities, and apply Inmar’s taxonomy definitions. The role requires internet research, attention to detail, and familiarity with US grocery store layouts and merchandising locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Google/internet search proficiency.
• Must have knowledge of food and non-food products that are sold through US grocery retail.
• Must be familiar with US grocery store layouts (departments) and what is merchandised in each location.

Responsibilities

• Understand Inmar’s taxonomy and categorization definitions (800+ categorizations).
• Data Entry - efficiently and accurately perform data entry tasks with accurate spelling and capitalization.
• Research - Identify the product.
• Identify - assign manufacturer, brand, and taxonomy to each product based on Inmar’s definitions.
• Assist in managing data integrity by identifying errors in data categorization or manufacturer/brand assignment.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in data handling.
