Job summary

Hive + Co is seeking a contract Data Analyst for a short-term engagement (~4 months) to maintain and analyze the foundational dataset for the external workforce program. The role will be the day-to-day data champion, coordinating data collection, validation, reconciliation, and communication across multiple enterprise systems and teams to ensure a complete, auditable worker-level dataset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or procurement-related roles.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and VMS platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills including data cleansing, lookups, and pivots.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Data Build and Maintenance of the master external workforce dataset using security/badging, VMS, Contracts, and ERP/AP systems.
• Perform detailed worker-level data reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Validate required data fields per worker.
• Normalize and standardize supplier names, worker identities, and contract references.
• Analyze and extract key commercial and workforce data fields from PDFs.
• Support spend analysis by aligning POs and invoices to individual workers where feasible.
• Data Governance: identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies for escalation.
• Partner with Procurement, AP, IT, and business stakeholders to validate data accuracy.
• Communicate weekly progress, risks, and findings to the program lead.
• Support contractor compliance program coordination through SmartSheet trackers.
