Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a General Counsel on a contract basis to lead contract negotiation playbooks and master commercial agreements. This remote role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and optimizing templates while providing guidance on best practices for negotiation and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, attention to detail, and proven experience in corporate contract environments to support AI training initiatives and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Counsel or Deputy/Assistant General Counsel with a focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts within corporate environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Experience developing or using contract negotiation playbooks for companies.
• Ability to work independently and provide concise, actionable insights for AI training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on diverse scenarios and company requirements.
• Draft, analyze, and annotate a range of commercial agreements with clarity and compliance.
• Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
• Curate and supply non-confidential, eligible transaction materials for project documentation objectives.
• Evaluate and optimize existing contract templates to improve efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure materials meet project guidelines and AI-training needs.
• Deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback to enhance system understanding and output.
