Job summary

Retell AI Inc. is seeking contract accountants to join the finance team as revenue grows from $5M to $80M ARR.

You will help keep the books, manage AR/AP, and ensure accurate vendor payments while working remotely. In this 1099 contractor role, you will collaborate with our billing lead, close monthly books, and resolve billing tickets with attention to detail; prior SaaS experience and proficiency with QuickBooks, Stripe, and Bill.com are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience covering month-end closes, AR, and AP.
• Experience at a SaaS or other high-growth company.
• Hands-on with accounting and billing tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Bill.com).
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Nice to have CPA or CPA candidate status.
• Experience with usage-based billing.

Responsibilities

• This hire owns day-to-day accounting execution: monthly close, AR, AP, and billing-related tickets.
• Support the monthly close: reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Work AR: invoice follow-up, cash application, and aging.
• Work AP: vendor bills, approvals, and payment runs.
• Resolve billing-related tickets from customers and internal teams.
