The role requires 7+ years in content strategy and IA, active Secret clearance, and a Bachelor's degree. This remote, full-time position collaborates with UX, design, IT, and program teams to ensure accessible, findable, and well-structured content.

Qualifications

• Must have active Secret clearance and Tier 3 background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of content strategy/information architecture/digital content governance.
• Experience building content models, taxonomies, metadata structures, and governance.
• Experience with content inventories, audits, and governance checks.
• Collaboration with UX, content, design, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead content governance for websites, LMS content, staff apps, and digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain content structures, metadata models, taxonomy rules, and controlled vocabularies.
• Conduct inventories, audits, and gap analyses for accuracy and governance compliance.
• Oversee content lifecycle including versioning, archival, and publishing workflows.
• Collaborate with UX/design/content teams to improve navigation and information architecture.
• Ensure accessibility standards (508/WCAG) and plain language compliance.
• Support CMS structure, templates, and structured content development.
