Job summary

HMH is seeking a Content Specialist for K-8 Math & Literacy to deliver customized pre-sales support across the US. You will partner with sales to tailor messages, run live demos, and create instructional content for pilots and customer conversations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of K-12 teaching, strong communication and tech skills, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Remote work with irregular hours is required; driving and airfare are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Five years of K-12 teaching experience, Math K-8 preferred.
• Bilingual is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills.
• Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom and Camtasia.
• Willing to travel 75%+; work from home with irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Curriculum Director, AEs and sales peers to tailor the sales message.
• Explore customer needs for education solutions.
• Deliver virtual and onsite pre-sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Handle customer questions and overcome objections.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to position strengths to market trends.
• Leverage competitors' knowledge to strengthen product demos at HMH.
• Provide initial training and ongoing support for sales pilots.
• Deliver data-driven customer presentations to support renewal revenue.
