Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Content Publishing & Automation Specialist to drive publishing workflows, QA processes, and automation initiatives. The candidate will streamline content operations, publish in CMS, and collaborate with content, design, and localization teams.

Required 2-4 years in digital content publishing, strong Microsoft 365 skills, and scripting experience. This remote (PST hours) contract role offers opportunities to develop AI-assisted tooling and dashboards for visibility.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in digital content publishing or production.
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and publishing platforms.
• Knowledge of content lifecycles from intake to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA of templates for metadata, accessibility, and standards.
• Publish and maintain content in the CMS per workflows.
• Support localization workflows and handoffs with teams.
• Maintain documentation, trackers, and audit trails.
• Identify automation opportunities and define requirements.
• Build and test scripts using Python/PowerShell or similar.
