Join a leading company as a remote Content Manager, overseeing the management of an article library for various brands. This role involves editing, liaising between clients and agencies, and maintaining the editorial calendar. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and experience in content management and writing.
Our client, one of the largest independent health insurance agencies in the country, is looking for a FULLY REMOTE Content Manager. This ongoing, part-time, remote assignment starts in early October, and will continue (20 hours per week) in an ongoing capacity.
The Content Manager will manage the article library for several brands and liaise between the client and external agencies and partners. The ideal Content Coordinator will be highly organized, communicative and have a strong background in writing, editing, and content management.
Content Manager Responsibilities:
- Assign articles to the appropriate team(s) for review
- Review and edit articles, scripts, social media posts, and more
- Submit articles to compliance and other parties for review
- Publish articles in WordPress
- Update Asana with appropriate records, status changes, and historical information
- Manage the relationship with agency partners and external vendors
- Maintain the editorial calendar
- Approve topics for articles, videos, and PDFs for multiple brands in conjunction with marketing managers
- Attend planning meetings with vendors and agency partners
- Research topics for new articles
- Analyze article performance and make recommendations on what to take down, edit, etc.
Content Manager Requirements:
- Content management experience
- Proofing and editing skills
- Organizational skills
- Informational writing experience
- Experience using WordPress or other web-based content management system
- Journalism or blog-writing background is a plus
- Familiarity with Asana or similar project-management software is a plus
