Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Container Engineer to build and operate a high-performance container platform for global cloud-native apps. You will advance reliability, observability, and cost efficiency across multi-tenant Kubernetes infrastructure, combining software engineering with SRE practices and open-source tooling.

You’ll collaborate with infrastructure and product teams in a fast-moving, asynchronous environment, contributing to core architecture and automation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, Kubernetes or container infra.
• Deep Kubernetes/container tooling knowledge (Kubernetes, containerd, CNCF).
• Strong SRE background with SLOs, error budgets and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for container platform.
• Lead ORRs for new capabilities and changes.
• Manage on-call incidents and blameless postmortems.
• Build and maintain automation, controllers, and platform APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Implement security automation and reduce toil via automation.
• Develop automated tests and pipelines for releases.
• Evolve the container tech stack for multi-tenant environments.
• Improve platform architecture to optimize costs while maintaining security and performance.
• Coach product teams in reliable operational practices in a global, asynchronous setup.
