Sales Match is seeking a Consulting Specialist for a fully remote role based in the United States. The position supports operational reviews, clarifies requirements, and delivers practical improvements under a senior consultant.

You will collaborate with client contacts and project coordinators to organize findings and ensure quality in deliverables. The role requires 1–2 years of consulting support experience, strong requirements gathering, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of management consulting fundamentals: requirements gathering, gap analysis, benchmarking, and evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for business readers.
• Ability to organize concurrent assignments and maintain accurate notes.

Responsibilities

• Receive consulting requests through a shared email queue, confirm scope with the senior consultant.
• Review client background and procedures to identify missing context before focused review.
• Record client requirements, contact history, and outstanding questions in a CRM (HubSpot).
• Arrange fact-finding discussions and summarize business requirements described during conversations.
• Compare current practices with requirements and benchmarks to identify gaps.
• Use root cause analysis to examine recurring issues and flag conflicting information.
• Prepare findings and practical improvement options with supporting evidence and considerations.
• Track review tasks and dependencies in a project tool (e.g., Trello) and update progress.
• Follow up on unanswered questions and escalate scope changes as needed.
• Share approved findings with relevant contacts and close completed tasks with thorough notes.
