Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care seeks a Consultative Coding Manager to lead a diverse team of coders, ensuring documentation supports accurate coding and reflects disease prevalence. You will partner with leadership to shape market strategies, foster collaboration across onshore and offshore teams, and drive quality improvement in documentation.

The role requires 6+ years of technical experience, management experience, CPC/RHIA/RHIT/CCS certifications, and the ability to travel about 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of technical experience including Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC Certification.
• Medicare Risk Adjustment based knowledge and experience.
• Must be able to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse team of consultative coders to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Collaborate with Divisional Coding Leaders to develop market-specific strategies.
• Build relationships with clinicians and offshore coding leadership to share knowledge and best practices.
• Identify strategies to improve clinical documentation for pre and post-visit coding.
• Develop continuous quality improvement initiatives.
