Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of technical experience including Microsoft Office Suite.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• CPC Certification.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC Certification.
• Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge and experience.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
• Location: residency in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of consultative coders to ensure documentation supports accurate coding.
• Partner with Divisional Coding Leaders to set market strategies.
• Cultivate clinician relationships as primary contact for documentation and coding.
• Identify strategies to improve pre- and post-visit coding.
• Collaborate with offshore coding leadership for quality and training.
• Oversee post-merger/acquisition coding procedures and PCO training.
