Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. is seeking a Superintendent II to lead daily field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate logistics, and uphold strict safety standards while serving as the main on-site representative.

The role demands extensive field experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read drawings and schedules. A relevant degree is preferred and OSHA 30 is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of field construction experience, incl. supervisory roles.
• Experience on commercial or multifamily projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and subcontractor activities.
• Coordinate project startup, mobilization, and site logistics.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules with Project Managers.
• Manage workforce productivity, sequencing, and jobsite coordination.
• Monitor quality, project progress, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Conduct daily site inspections, coordination meetings, and safety walkthroughs.
• Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, safety documentation, and project records.
• Lead punch list completion, inspections, and project closeout activities.
• Resolve field issues affecting schedule, quality, or budget.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and long-lead procurement.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and enforce company safety policies.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for owners, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors.
