Job summary

MasTec Communications Group seeks an Operations Support Manager to lead construction operations, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery for outside plant projects. You will supervise multiple managers and coordinate with clients, field teams, and subcontractors in a safety-minded environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on leadership, with a compensation range of $85,000–$95,000 per year. Remote work is allowed while residing in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction field.
• 5 years of management-level experience in outside plant construction.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, blueprints, and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Interface with field managers, clients, subcontractors, and owners to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Plan and supervise activities of operations staff on projects.
• Prepare weekly revenue and cost reports and invoicing.
• Assist in safety programs and ensure policy compliance.
• Directly supervise 4 to 8 Construction Managers, Project Managers, and Supervisors.
