Job summary

GlobalData is seeking an Analyst to join its Construction team in a US remote role. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the construction market across North and South America, with state-level segmentation and forecast insights for clients.

You will conduct research, write reports and present findings in webinars and product demos, helping clients inform development strategies and commercial decisions. Strong writing, analytical skills, and forecasting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in economics or business.
• Excellent written English and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with forecasting techniques and Excel.
• Ability to present research findings to clients.
• Primary research skills including phone/web calls.
• Initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand macroeconomic and sector trends affecting the construction industry.
• Write in-depth reports and updated forecasts to deadlines.
• Produce regular analysis and provide commentary to media on request.
• Represent the company in webinars and at conferences.
• Support account managers and business development teams in meeting clients’ needs.
