Job summary

Actalent in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee large-scale fulfillment and industrial facilities nationwide. You will lead preconstruction management for retrofit, expansion, and new builds, ensuring design, schedule, and budget align to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires extensive construction and project management experience, with a focus on coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts and delivering complex programs with high autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction management, project management, or a closely related field.
• Proven project management experience delivering retrofits and/or new builds for commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience in projects ~150,000 sq ft with budgets around $20 million.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines (GC, Owners Representation, Commercial Development, Engineering and Design).

Responsibilities

• Manage preconstruction activities for retrofit, expansion, and new build industrial and commercial projects.
• Coordinate engineering and architectural specifications for each building type.
• Develop documentation for lease execution, including site plans and schedules.
• Create initial construction schedules and sequencing strategies.
• Prepare regular reports and updates to upper management.
