• Experience handling construction defect claims with substantial knowledge of coverage issues.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities for complex claims.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with multiple state regulations and risk transfer strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex construction defect claims, including litigated matters.
• Analyze coverage issues related to subcontractors and state-specific processes (e.g., Florida Chapter 558).
• Interpret contracts and apply risk transfer strategies.
• Manage litigation proactively with defense counsel and insureds to reach optimal outcomes.
• Utilize advanced resolution techniques, such as high-low agreements and settlements proposals.
• Respond to time-limit demands and regulatory complaints; maintain reserve reports.
• Collaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve processes.
