Carlton Electric is seeking a Cost Accountant in our Denver office to manage project billings, receivables, and payables while ensuring contractual compliance. You will back up month-end close, GL reconciliations, and tax reporting within a dynamic accounting team.

The role emphasizes hands-on contract billing, tax reporting, and coordination with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple projects. Remote work possible post-training.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Open projects, review contracts, enroll new customers and maintain records.
• Process monthly contract billings with documentation and web portals.
• Review invoices against contracts; coordinate payments and lien waivers.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns; assist with tax questions.
