Job summary

Syscon is seeking a highly capable Construction Client Accountant to work remotely in the United States. The role requires hands-on Sage 100 Contractor expertise and direct construction accounting experience, including WIP, job costing, and payroll.

You will manage multiple client accounts, handle payroll end-to-end, perform reconciliations, and support billing and month-end close, with strong client communication and independent work style.

Qualifications

• Recent, hands-on Sage 100 Contractor experience.
• Direct construction accounting experience with WIP and job costing.
• Hands-on payroll processing in Sage 100 Contractor.
• Ability to work independently with minimal training.
• Strong organization and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for multiple construction clients.
• Personally process payroll from start to finish in Sage 100 Contractor.
• Perform bank reconciliations, sales tax filings, month-end close, and billing support.
• Prepare and maintain job costing and WIP schedules.
• Support progress billing, AP, AR, audit, and year-end accounting needs.
