Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is assisting a US-based construction firm in hiring a Remote Accountant. You will oversee accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and general ledger maintenance, working in a fully remote US environment.

Experience with QuickBooks is required and Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable as the firm transitions systems; collaboration with internal teams and support during audits are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process AR, billing, and invoices with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Assist with the software transition from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Provide support during audits or financial reviews
