Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Chicago is seeking a Conflicts Analyst I to help maintain the Conflicts databases, structure search strategies, and generate accurate conflict reports. You will work under the Conflicts Manager, with a focus on confidentiality and client safety, and you will have the chance to work from home with occasional office presence.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in a legal setting, strong research skills, and proficiency with MS Office and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional work experience in a legal environment with demonstrated research and problem-solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define complex conflict search strategies using Boolean logic.
• Maintain Conflicts database and perform data entry.
• Review matters to ensure accurate party positions and relationships.
• Establish and maintain ethical walls to screen individuals from clients and matters.
• Prepare and distribute departmental reports with attention to detail.
• Provide training and mentoring to Conflict Department peers.
