You will implement conflict resolution strategies, obtain waivers, and support leadership with clear, concise communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or finance.
A Juris Doctor (JD) or paralegal certification is a plus.
Experience in conflict analysis preferred within a law firm or legal department.
Strong understanding of legal ethics, confidentiality, and conflicts rules.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires using the firm’s software.
Analyze conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest, including prior representations, adverse parties, and confidential information.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to gather information for conflict analysis.
Communicate with leadership regarding conflict identification and resolution strategies.
Assist in developing and implementing conflict resolution plans, including waivers and ethical screens when necessary.
Maintain detailed records of conflict processes per firm policies and regulatory requirements.
Promote clear, concise communication to ensure others understand the message and its impact.
