The Ohio State University is seeking a Compliance Specialist, Conflict of Interest, to support the COI program by reviewing disclosures, advising investigators, and helping manage COI processes within ERIK's Research Compliance team. The role includes developing training, monitoring COI communications, and improving eCOI workflows.

Required: a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least two years in higher education, research administration, or COI compliance. Remote work eligible within Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in higher education, research administration, or compliance related to conflict of interest.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine COI reviews and advise researchers on COI disclosure forms.
• Assist with developing, operating, and managing processes for auditing COI disclosures.
• Develop, execute, and document conflict management plans involving researchers' outside activities.
• Improve the electronic COI (eCOI) approval and disclosure processes.
• Coordinate COI training for researchers and staff; monitor COI inbox; aid in SOP development.
• Track COIs involving researchers' outside activities and assist with federal sponsor reporting.
