Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a full-time, remote Configuration Manager to support the United States Coast Guard COMPL in the C5ISC area. The role covers R21, MILSATCOM, and integrated systems, with responsibilities for CM plans, configuration identification, and documentation control.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years in CM-related work, and familiarity with CM, TDM, PLM concepts and related tools. Occasional travel and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate business or technical discipline, or equivalent field experience.
• 4+ years’ experience developing and maintaining management plans, processes, and systems.
• Familiarity with CM, TDM, PLM concepts, and tools including FLS, CGFIXIT, CMPRO, ARAS PLM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan for C5ISC product lines.
• Perform configuration identification of components, subsystems, systems, software, and higher-level assemblies.
• Manage and update configurations per CM processes for assigned systems/assets.
• Update status of proposed configuration changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Record and report implementation status and affectivity of configuration changes.
• Update databases and documentation management systems for asset lines and systems.
• Perform internal and support independent configuration audits.
