Job summary

DLS Engineering seeks a full-time, remote Configuration Manager to support the Coast Guard COMPL and C5ISC service center. You will lead CM planning for Rescue 21, MILSATCOM, and related assets, ensuring baselines meet Coast Guard and C5ISC requirements.

Responsibilities include CM identification, updating configurations, auditing, and coordinating with engineers and asset managers. Some travel may be required; a US citizen with a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent field experience.
• At least 4 years' experience developing and maintaining management plans, processes and systems.
• Familiarity with government CM, TDM, and PLM concepts and tools.
• Experience with logistics and inventory management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management Plan for C5ISC product lines.
• Perform CM identification of components, subsystems, systems, software, and HLAs.
• Update configurations and coordinate with system engineers and asset managers.
• Record and report change implementation status and validation to stakeholders.
• Maintain CM-related databases (FLS, NE-TIMS, CG-LIMS, IETM) for assets.
• Conduct internal and independent CM audits; perform PCA if required.
• Process up to 5 contractor PCA weekly and up to 100 annually.
