Job summary

AmeriSave Mortgage is seeking a Condo Project Review Underwriter to evaluate condo projects for refinance and purchase transactions, ensuring compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and Non-QM guidelines. This remote role allows you to work from home, with the caveat that applicants in California are not eligible.

You will collaborate with Sales, Underwriting and Processing, document notes, and help maintain efficient turn times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of condo mortgage underwriting experience.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High-speed internet required for remote work (70/30 Mbps, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform condo project reviews for refinance and purchase transactions.
• Adhere to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and Non-QM condo guidelines.
• Communicate with Sales, Underwriting, and Processing teams.
• Document notes and maintain turn times on tasks.
• Review project, borrower insurances, and required documents.
