Placements24 is seeking a talented Concept Artist specializing in environments to join their fully remote team. You will create stunning visual designs that define worlds for upcoming projects and inspire the production team.

A strong portfolio, 3–5 years' experience in gaming or entertainment, and proficiency with Photoshop or Procreate are essential. You will collaborate with art directors, iterate on designs, and maintain stylistic consistency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Concept Artist in the gaming or entertainment industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environment design and digital painting.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or Procreate.
• Solid understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and perspective.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually compelling concept art for environments (landscapes, architecture, props).
• Create sketches, mood boards, and high-fidelity renderings to establish artistic direction.
• Collaborate with art directors and game designers to realize world visions.
• Research visual references to inform design decisions and maintain stylistic accuracy.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback to ensure cohesive art style.
