XDA is hiring remote freelance Computing Writers located in the United States or Canada to cover current PC updates, guides, and news in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We seek a sharp, self‑starter writer with deep knowledge of PC hardware, software, and operating systems who can produce reliable content, format images, and contribute to our in-house CMS. Applicants must provide 2–3 samples of tech writing.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing and editing for technical topics in English.
• Strong knowledge of PCs, PC parts, and the broader tech landscape.
• Ability to research, verify, and present up-to-date computing information.

Responsibilities

• Contribute reliably and consistently under tight deadlines.
• Produce buying guides, tutorials, and news for publication.
• Input work into our in-house CMS and format images per guidelines.
• Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback.
