Job summary

EnviroScience, Inc. seeks a Compliance Engineering Manager to lead civil/environmental projects in the Asheville, NC area. You will ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and on-time delivery while collaborating with HQ and regional teams.

The role requires a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree and a North Carolina P.E. license, plus 10+ years of civil engineering experience with 4+ years in management. AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS or SWMM experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North Carolina is required.
• Minimum 10 years in civil engineering with at least 4 years in management.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance regulations (EPA, NC DEQ, AWWA, ACOE, NCDOT).
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM) is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage compliance with engineering projects and staff.
• Oversee QA/QC for designs, permitting, and hydrology/hydraulics modeling.
• Develop engineering memos, reports, drawings, specs, and compliance documents.
• Manage project budgets and staff hours to stay within financial constraints.
• Support client relationships and regional business development.
