Job summary

Private Health Management (PHM) is seeking an Associate Research Director for complex care. You will lead research on complex cases, review medical records, and evaluate diagnostic and treatment options including clinical trials, guiding decision making with data and expert input.

The role emphasizes patient-centered research, collaboration with clinicians and external experts, and creation of patient education materials. A remote US-based position with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• PhD in science or healthcare is required.
• Early career professional experience in a complex medical disorder is required.
• Preference for Doctorate of Physical Therapy with orthopedic/PT experience.
• Experience in women's health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client-facing engagement: participate in client calls with clinicians to discuss findings.
• Analyze patient medical records, including data extraction and tracking of labs and meds.
• Conduct literature reviews and summarize articles for patient-friendly reports.
• Interpret molecular diagnostics and lab tests to support patient care decisions.
• Research, evaluate, and prioritize treatment options based on standard of care and guidelines.
• Identify and evaluate potential clinical trials and connect with trial sites.
• Create patient education documents and presentations on history, diagnosis, and options.
