Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking compassionate, patient, and dependable Customer Service Representatives to support policyholders in a remote role. We service a diverse customer base, and calls may involve sensitive situations such as cancer claims or loss of a loved one.

The ideal candidate remains calm, listens carefully, and communicates with empathy and dignity on every interaction. Starting pay is $14/hour, plus a $1 per hour shift differential for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy required for sensitive conversations.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to navigate emotionally charged situations with professionalism.
• Strong listening and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional customer service to policyholders.
• Assist customers with questions regarding life, cancer, and other insurance policies.
• Help initiate and navigate sensitive claims when needed.
• Listen carefully and demonstrate empathy during emotional conversations.
• Communicate clearly and at a comfortable pace for customers.
• Provide accurate information while maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor.
• Document customer interactions accurately and follow established procedures.
• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
• Deliver a positive customer experience on every call.
