Giga Energy Inc. is seeking a Community Relations & Public Affairs Manager to lead the execution of community-entry and license-to-operate programs from late-stage site development through construction and operations in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community relations, public affairs, local government, or related field.
• Experience with infrastructure, energy, or real-estate projects.
• Ability to build trust with residents, officials, and organizations.
• Strong writing, public-speaking, and meeting-facilitation skills.
• Ability to operate calmly in contentious public meetings and in one‑on‑one conversations.
• Strong judgment handling sensitive community, legal, or reputational matters.
• Experience managing community-investment programs or stakeholder databases.
• Translate technical project information into clear language for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a community-engagement plan for new data center projects.
• Create stakeholder maps, community briefs, risk assessments, FAQs, and updates.
• Lead outreach to residents and document responses in a tracking system.
• Coordinate mitigation discussions with Projects, Real Estate, and Legal.
• Plan listening sessions, town halls, site tours, and construction updates.
• Manage local donations, partnerships with emergency services, and vendor programs.
• Build relationships with city officials, chambers, schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
• Maintain relationships with local media and monitor public sentiment.
• Escalate reputational issues and coordinate local responses with leadership.
