Job summary

Giga Energy seeks a Community Relations & Public Affairs Manager to lead community-entry and license-to-operate programs from late-stage site development through construction and operations. You will build trust with residents, media, civic groups, and local businesses, translating complex project information into clear community communications.

The role requires hands-on field presence, strong writing and public-speaking skills, and the ability to manage issues before they become reputational

Qualifications

• 5+ years in community relations, public affairs, local government, or infrastructure communications.
• Experience working in communities affected by construction, energy, or real-estate projects.
• Ability to build trust with residents, officials, and community organizations.
• Strong writing, public-speaking, and issue-management skills.
• Ability to operate calmly in contentious public settings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a community-engagement plan for each Giga data center project.
• Create stakeholder maps, briefs, risk assessments, FAQs, presentations, and construction updates.
• Lead outreach to residents and manage recording, responding to, and resolving concerns.
• Coordinate on project announcements and local media opportunities.
• Spend substantial time on the ground in Texas communities before and during major milestones.
