  • Strong motivation to learn along with professional drive.
  • Passion for community development and public service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media campaigns.
  • Current enrollment at a college/university.
  • Ability to commute to Annapolis office for internship duration.

Responsibilities

  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data and documents from stakeholders.
  • Organize outreach efforts including community meetings and focus group logistics.
  • Support grant management by establishing files, reviewing invoices, and assisting grant monitoring activities.
  • Develop and implement grant application and review processes.
  • Support Planning team with daily administrative tasks such as filing, purchasing supplies, and coordinating meetings or RSVPs.
  • Develop blog/website and social media posts highlighting community development and affordable housing achievements.
  • Attend community meetings, take minutes as an ACDS representative, and provide meeting support.
