A2JC seeks a motivated part-time Communications Intern/Fellow/Consultant/Specialist to support design, digital communications, and website management for a nonprofit focused on Maryland civil justice.

This remote role offers 10 hours per week with a flexible start in late August or early September 2026, and exposure to branding, social media, WordPress, Canva, and analytics.

Join a small, mission-driven team housed within the Maryland State Bar Association.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recent graduate in communications, design, marketing, public affairs, or related field.
• Interest in nonprofit communications, public interest law, design, marketing, and/or digital media.

Responsibilities

• Design graphics and visual content using Canva in line with brand guidelines.
• Perform basic updates to WordPress website (off-the-shelf theme/page-builder edits).
• Support content creation, community engagement and growth across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
