Job summary

ImpactLife in Missouri is seeking a Community Development Advocate to drive donor engagement and build partnerships with communities and government entities.

You will lead the development and oversight of Associate Boards, represent the organization at events, and expand outreach across our service territory. A marketing or PR background and strong relationship skills are essential; travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in community/public relations or sales and marketing.
• Preference given to candidates with social media marketing results.
• Previous experience leading a volunteer board.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, communications, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Equivalent combination of demonstrated work experience and education may be considered.
• Ability to travel within the service territory up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive engagement of targeted donor groups by developing and maintaining community relationships and overseeing Associate Boards.
• Act as community and government liaison to promote ImpactLife's interests and mission.
• Represent ImpactLife at community events and sponsored events; network through associations.
• Lead the initiative to develop additional Associate Boards and expand existing boards.
• Boards educate donors and develop strategic engagement plans.
