Job summary

BJC Behavioral Health is seeking a Community Behavioral Health Liaison to coordinate services for individuals with behavioral health needs who interact with law enforcement, courts, and hospitals in the St. Louis area.

The role focuses on developing access to services for individuals with complex mental health needs, coordinating with local partners, and supporting diversion and crisis response initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in social services or a related field is required.
• LCSW or LPC licensure is required or preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required to travel in the service area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services and develop local systems of care for behavioral health needs.
• Collaborate with courts and law enforcement on behavioral health issues.
• Participate in Crisis Intervention Team or similar initiatives.
• Provide or coordinate training and consultation on behavioral health issues.
• Assist with assessments, voluntary services access, and detentions petitions.
