Job summary

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a Community Advocate Pharmacy Technician to provide consistent contact with community staff, handle refills, and maintain patient information while supporting quality care for seniors. The role is 100% remote and requires active licensure and CPhT certification along with long-term care experience.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, coordinating with physicians, processing prescriptions, and documenting activities in the system.

Qualifications

Must have Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT certification per state requirements.
Long-term care pharmacy experience required.
Experience with Docutrack and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

Triages calls and assists callers.
Contact physicians for refill authorization as needed.
Verify and process all new and refill prescriptions.
Open orders, verify eligibility, input prescriptions, maintain productivity and quality.
Document correspondence and follow up in the system.
Prepare audit sheets and provide feedback to manager.
Route incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department and track status.
Initiate and document correspondence and follow up in the system.
Answer incoming calls promptly with high level of customer service.
